FAQ - Vinyl Wraps.
ALL THE QUESTIONS ABOUT VINYL COLOUR CHANGE WRAPS.
How long does it take to wrap my car ?
Typically a full car wrap will take anywhere from 3 to 5 days to complete depending on the type and size of the vehicle. It also depends on the condition of the car as to how much prep works need to be done prior to applying vinyl wrpas.
How to look after my vinyl wrap ?
It is recommended to only hand wash your cars and avoid using any high pressure systems. Do not use any caustic & abrasive cleaning agent. Apply vinyl-specific Ceramic Coatings & Paint Protection Film (PPF) over the vinyl for the ultimate protection of your investment.
How MUCH DOES it COST ?
Due to the various types of cars and the different type of film finishes available on the market, there isn’t a straightforward answer to it. As a ballpark, a small hatchback with standard matte grey finish costs $3,000 (incl.) to install.
HOW LONG DOES THE VINYL WRAP LAST ?
We only use reputable vinyl materials from trusted suppliers such as 3M, Avery, Hexis etc. Vinyl films from these suppliers have a 5-year warranty on vertical and 2-year warranty on horizontal surfaces. With proper maintenance, most vinyls will last between 2 to 7 years.
What does the wrapping process look like ?
Once you pick a colour & finish, we will start by preparing the vehicle. This process includes deep cleaning, decontaminate and degreasing the vehicle to ensure a tight bond between vinyl & the paint. We may also dissemble certain parts so we can get better access to tricky areas for that perfect job.
CAN I DO A PARTIAL WRAP such as mirrors or roofs?
Absolutely! Vinyl films can be applied to almost anything. Instead of a full colour change, some people simply like to black out the roof, carbon fibre the mirror caps or even just give the door handles a different colour. The choices are in your hands.
